Hard Candy Baked Bronzer in shade Tiki — I’m sure this comes as no surprise, I absolutely love this product! Though it’s labeled as a bronzer, we all know this is a highlighter. It gives the most gorgeous sheen I’ve ever had on my cheeks; did I mention it’s sold at Walmart for only $8? YEAH
My sister actually picked this up for me super cheap at GenerationBeauty last weekend. I haven’t gotten around to trying it out just yet, but I have high hopes for this because Essence is highly underrated.
Revlon Highlighting Palette in shade Peach Glow is absolutely stunning. I’m not too sure if this product is limited edition, but hopefully not. I saw it on a display at my local RiteAid for about $10. Some strips have that golden tone, however, the lightest shade has a bit of a pink tone, which overall leaves a really pretty neutral toned highlight. Is it a dupe for Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks? I wish I could tell you but I don’t own any.
Maybelline Single Eyeshadow in shade Silken Taupe — I originally bought this for an all over lid shade, but realized it always works great as a face highlighter! It is not as soft as NYX single shadows and isn’t as pigmented, so I wouldn’t use it on the lid alone. Approximately $5
Milani Amore Matte Lip Cremes in shade Lust & Desire — I don’t think I can stress enough how much I absolutely adore this liquid lipstick. This will be quite a lofty statement coming from me, but it is absolutely hands down, the greatest liquid lipstick I have ever used in my life. The finish is matte, smells like cake, is soft and comfortable all throughout the day, does not transfer, is easy to apply, and is only $7. If you can still get your hands on them, BUY EVERY COLOR. And if you find BELOVED, CRUSH, or EMBRACE, please grab me one (:
Oldies but goodies! I used to have these two Wet n Wild Mega Last Matte Lipsticks in shade Sandstorm and Ravin Raisin. RiteAid was having a promotion on WnW, so I just decided to pick them up again, and I must say, I cant complain. They’re beautifully pigmented, thoroughly unscented, and really inexpensive. With the promotion, I got them for $1.50 a piece
The formula is very creamy and not at all drying. The first time you apply, it may have a bit of pull to it, but once the heat from your body slightly warms up the lipstick, it glides on easily.
NYX High Voltage Lipstick in shade Feline– My sister got this as freebee from GenerationBeauty and thankfully isn’t into vampy lips like I am. This is a really nice formula, along with the other shades I already own, and is definitely fall & winter appropriate. It is a deep reddish brown with a neutral undertone. Approximately $5.
I know, I know; a ton of lip products. But so many brands have been coming out with great things! LAGirl Flat Velvet Matte Lipsticks in shades Snuggle & Va Voom. Not too bad, but not my favorite. These are two shades I bought myself for $4 each.
Milani Matte Lipsticks $6 — in shades Matte Naked, Matte Beauty, & Matte Love. I really enjoy using Matte Beauty as a warm nude shade for my skin tone. I will not be keeping Matte Naked because it washes me out way too much. In the swatch, it looks like a great cool toned ash nude, but on my pigmented lips, it is not flattering. Matte Love is a deep berry shade with a tad bit of fine glitter. They do not have the same candy watermelon scent like the Color Statement line, however, they have a nice subtle vanilla scent.
No big deal here, just my Holy Grail Makeup Removing Wipes Ponds Evening Soothe with Chamomile & White Tea. I have nothing to say other than you need these in your life. I also purchased the Simple Cleansing Wipes, but these > those.
These feel the tiniest bit abrasive on my face. They don’t feel as refreshing as my Ponds ones, and I need to work with them a bit more.
I know this post is quite lengthy, but I tried to keep it short and sweet to let you guys knows how I feel about them. Thanks for sticking it out! I have a high end haul coming soon as well!
